Being a musician is where it all started for me. From the age of 7 I played piano and from the age of 13 I started playing bass guitar and joined my first band. (We started playing covers of Metallica and Nirvana, and continued making our own very heavy metal songs after that). Practicing in my friend's garage, driving his neighbours mad. You know? The good old times.

 

During and after studying bass guitar and graduating with a mixed degree with specializations in bass guitar and education, I played bass and keys with a number of artists, amongst who were: Duncan Laurence, Isabelle van Beek (YSA / KIND HUMAN), Pyrates!, Cloud Cukkoo, and others.

 

Since founding The Live Coaches in 2020, I’ve been less focussed on making music. Although I still regularly play and tour with 'Pyrates!'. Mostly because it’s just such a joy to travel Europe with those guys, get into strange adventures dressed as pirates, while also vigilantly looking for the best Indian curry in Europe.

 

Though it’s not what I’m focussed on right now, I’m always open to wherever life leads me. So if you feel like it would be fun to have me play bass with you and sing a few lines on backing vocals, feel free to send me a message :)
